Final Days of Summer

Under Benjamin Franklin Bridge towards Camden New Jersey

Final days of summer. Underneath the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. No shelter from the hot afternoon sun. Parched. At least the occasional breeze brought some relief. The river kindly offered, “I’ve water to quench your thirst, but my refreshment could bring you ill.” Looking forward to Autumn and Spring.

Summer seemed to have gone by rather quickly. I reviewed the paintings that I have made and realised that I was more productive than I have thought. I thought I have idled away my summer.

I have assembled a small collection of paintings that I have made during the summer of 2015. Most of them were done outdoors and a few done indoors. I have several more that I feel worthy of showing but I think it would be an overload.

Yes indeed it has been a productive summer for me. An artist is always learning, and I am glad to say that it has been a great learning experience. I hope you all also had a memorable summer.

Below are a select few of my paintings for the Summer of 2015.
