Artist’s Musings

a pair of geese flew by; outside my studio window; i’m glad elephants don’t fly

Hey neighbour

When we see artists announcing a sale of one of their works or some of their works, we oft imagine that this is a common occurrence — their stuff sell fresh off the easel. Sigh, we wish. Unless she or he is a fabulously famous artist, for many other artists, our works wait, and wait till the right patron comes along and it calls out, “Hey there, I was made just for you!”

This is one of my favourite paintings. I have a few other variations of my neighbour’s house as viewed from the back of my studio-house. Every other season, it never seem to appear or feel the same. I think everything, like humans, has its own mood swings. Nothing stays the same. So what’s new?

Thank you mystery patron.

I have a selected few available at The Station Gallery of Delaware
