It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood to work on an old painting

This is another painting that has been in storage and out of storage. I have been replaying in my mind how I would like to finish this piece. Shall I make broad brush strokes or minute brush works? I like the apparent sense of haphazard brush work like a rough sketch, but this one seems to be calling for something less sketchy looking.

Seeking Shelter

It started off as a painting from a photo of a clearing up a hill in a bird sanctuary in Delaware. I like to call it Hawk Lookout Hill. This painting went through several changes including scrape-downs until it eventually evolved into a winter scene. On the wall and off the walls, and into storage and out of storage.
