Nine years ago when Thor blew into town

I wanted to experience painting in a snowstorm. I got my wish. Thor blew into town on 5 March 2015.

Large snowflakes were coming down this way and that way. Roads, pavements, and natural grounds disappear under a thick puffy blanket of snow. It was a magical wonderland. And cold.

Meanwhile, on the palette, it was like trying to mix paint with cornflakes getting in the way making crunchy sounds. It was an amusing experience.

I got what I wanted, quickly packed up, and returned to my studio to finish it. I do not remember what happened to the finished painting. Either I have misplaced it or I have gifted it. I forget. But I cannot forget the experience of the sense of place. Priceless.
