New paintings from 28 November through 9 December

Working on more studio paintings during the cold season. Paintings are very difficult to photograph because of the source of the light which looks different during different times of the day. There is also the temptation to tweak it to make the photograph look more colourful, but I refrained. It was not easy.

Paintings and other art are best appreciated in person because a computer screen is different from one user’s setup from another, and it could never successfully convey the spirit of the work. On that note, I hope that when you see a painting online that you really like, if possible, you would make a trip to the gallery or museum to appreciate it to its fullest in person.
